Save the date for our upcoming open rehearsals beginning on August 24th.  A celebration and thank you to Barbara Quill and all she has done for the chorus in her time as president, and a welcome to out new co-presidents, Anne Alexander and Deb Garnett.  And an introduction to this season's concert theme - "Green and Gold."

A new season is underway for Taunton Civic Chorus. The Spring
season began on Thursday, January 12th with Music Director Chris Hoskins leading singers, along with Assistant Music
Director/Accompanist JJ Ward.
The 63rd season for the chorus features folk music of American,
Celtic, and heritage. The concert is entitled, How Can We Keep
from Singing? – An Evening of Folk Songs.

Today Mass Cultural Council celebrated a historic $51,063,360 public investment into the Commonwealth’s creative and cultural sector by announcing the 5,218 recipients of two pandemic recovery grant programs at the Massachusetts State House.

These grants will support creative individuals and cultural organizations across the state as the sector transitions to a post-pandemic world.

Taunton Civic Chorus wrapped up another season on December 4th with its concert The Colors of Winter, and at the same time turned 63 years old.

Call it a preview of the Holiday Concert. Led by Music Director
Chris Hoskins and accompanied by JJ Ward, the Taunton Civic Chorus performed a few selections from the upcoming concert
plus “The Stars and Stripes” as a tribute to Veterans at the Dighton Arts Festival.
