The Bob Keith Memorial Scholarship
Every year the Taunton Civic Chorus grants at least one graduating high school senior from the Greater Taunton Area a scholarship of $800. Students applying for this scholarship must have been an active participant in some musical activity throughout their high school tenure (chorus, band, orchestra, private voice or instrumental lessons, drama club, dance lessons). Students must also be enrolling in a 2-4 year college program pursuing any degree.

This year, applications are due March 9, 2026
The Bob Keith Memorial Scholarship is presented to one graduating senior from the Greater Taunton Area and surrounding towns. The winner of this year's scholarship will perform at our concert on May 3, 2026.

Application Process

Complete the application linked below. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Provide a one-page, typed, self written essay on the following topic: How your involvement in the performing arts thus far in your life will influence you as you pursue your chosen field of study.

Provide two recommendations. One must be from a school music/drama teacher or private instructor in the performing arts. Include email addresses for the people writing recommendations.

Provide a copy of an official high school transcript.

Submit a short performance video to Google Drive and share with taunton.ma.civic.chorus@gmail.com

The application and all accompanying documents must be sent in one pdf file. Upload the pdf to the chorus email address. taunton.ma.civic.chorus@gmail.com or documents may be sent via USPS to the following address:​
