The Bob Keith Memorial Scholarship
Every year the Taunton Civic Chorus grants at least one graduating high school senior from the Greater Taunton Area a scholarship of $500. Students applying for this scholarship must have participated in some music musical activity throughout their high school tenure. Students must also be enrolling in a 2-4 year college program.
This year, applications are due March 3, 2023

The Bob Keith Memorial Scholarship is for graduating seniors who have participated in some form of musical arts from the greater Taunton area high schools including:
Taunton High School,
Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School,
West Bridgewater High School,
East Bridgewater High School,
Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School,
Somerset-Berkley Regional High School,
Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School,
Bristol County Agricultural High School,
Apponequet Regional High School,
Middleborough High School,
Norton High School,
Oliver Ames High School.
Application Process

Complete the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Provide a one-page, typed, self-written essay on the following topic:
“Defend funding for the Performing Arts in schools.” Include how this impacts your community, your school, and/or your personal experience.

Provide one recommendation from either a teacher, administrator, or instructor in the performing arts.

Submit a copy of an official high school transcript.
